# 10. Risk Factors

Participation in WFC carries real risk. This list is not exhaustive.

* **Total loss.** Acquiring WFC can result in the loss of the entire amount used to acquire it.
* **Volatility.** Small-cap token prices can move sharply and unpredictably.
* **Liquidity.** Liquidity conditions can change; exiting a position at a desired price, or at all, may not be possible.
* **Smart-contract and protocol risk.** Any contract or third-party protocol WFC interacts with may contain vulnerabilities or fail, including failures outside WFC's control.
* **Regulatory risk.** The regulatory treatment of digital assets is uncertain and evolving across jurisdictions and may materially affect WFC, its availability, or holders.
* **No guarantee of value, return, or continued operation.**
